Carl Rogers

(1902-1987)

The person-centered or Rogerian approach is the work of Carl Rogers an influential America psychologist and among the founders of the humanistic approach to psychology.

This approach has wide applications, as it provides a fertile ground for positive therapy and developing self-awareness.  The core conditions offered in this style consistently provide a range of developments for clients, and these core conditions are integrated into all other forms of therapy.  Watch the brilliant film of Carl Rogers below for his explanation of these core conditions and the benefits they have.
