Workshop Information

Supervision and reflection are an intrinsic part of a professional’s self-care and continual development. Reflecting on our work and the process clarifies issues and dynamics ensuring our work and self-care are attended to. We identify our skills and areas of skillful practice and clarifies area for personal and professional development.

Self-awareness is a lifelong development journey, the foundation to professional competence, equality, and collaboration between client, therapist, and supervisor. Using practical Adlerian principles we will explore how our personal awareness and professional practice are linked; how we can develop collaborative observation of our unique Private Logic and Lifestyle, reminding us of our patterns which support and deplete all-round wellbeing.

This workshop offers trainees and experienced practitioners an opportunity to consider ways of using reflective practice to further enhance their client, counselling and supervision work and their professional development through a mixture of education, laughing, discussions, and experiential exercises. Come along learn and laugh!

Tea & coffee will be provided. Please bring some food for a shared lunch.
